Tony Ung is a Director/Photographer born in Long Beach, CA. A product of his diverse Southern California upbringing, he was raised in a household where Chinese, Cambodian and Vietnamese culture converged with American society.
He grew up going to DIY music shows, surfing up and down the coast, and exploring his creativity through a camera. Tony is a director very much informed by his experience as a cinematographer and photographer. He has a keen eye for lighting and composition and uses it to create captivating stories about colorful subjects.
His diverse portfolio includes music videos, documentary films, and commercial work for such brands as Google, Starbucks, Coors, Tillamook, Dropbox, Amgen, and Smirnoff.
